You've been ashore the last few years, far from the sea. There used to be nothing you liked more than the salty air and sway of the ship with your crew, but what you experienced out there in "The Cemetery of the Ocean", the pelagic horrors, haunt you still. The sound of the chitinous claws tearing at The Second Mate. The sight of the pulpy tentacles wrapped around The Carpenter. The smell of the mould covering The Bosun. And the sea. The grey sea...

And you will return. No sailor ever truly escapes from it. You could ask The Cook, ask The First Mate, ask The Surgeon, except you can't. They never made it back to shore. ALL SOULS LOST. Even The Jonah, as far inland as he went and as long as he was away, couldn't free himself from that thalassic darkness. It called to The Cabin Boy, the cheeriest little lad, and he set sail, never to be seen again. It calls to you, and eventually you will not be able to resist.

The grey sea is always out there, dreaming of your return. Dreaming... of your death...

All Souls Lost is the first expansion to the Grey Seas are Dreaming of My Death RPG, bringing more William Hope Hodgson maritime terror to life. All Souls Lost adds countless hours of new material to flesh out your gaming, including:

  • 30+ more pelagic denizens of the Sargasso. In the depths dwell giant costume crabs, bifurcated octopi, carcinized sharks, and terrifying fungal whales.

  • A new type of crew member, Shellback Crew. If you enjoyed the strangeness that playing as a Fungal Human brings to your ship and want more weirdness like that, prepare for The Night Land to offer up the champions of the Last Redoubt, The Monstruwacan. Hope you have plenty of food ready because you will be shocked at how much these heroes eat. And The Night Land isn't the only unnatural place new crew can be found, as from beyond The Borderlands comes The Developed Swine-Thing. Strangely, not all members of a humanoid pig race seek the annihilation of mankind.

  • Information on the cryptonatural phenomena common to the Sargasso as researched by infamous "Occult Detective" Thomas Carnacki. Fear the evolutionary inevitability that is Carcinization, the ectoparasitic castrator Sacculina, the dreaded Grey Fungus, and the horrors of Deep-Sea Gigantism.

  • 80 story hooks. Whether your crew are on the high seas, boarding an abandoned ship, stuck on a mysterious island, or back home at port, they are never really safe.

  • 20 NPCs. Fill the ports and ships with a variety of characters that can be dropped into your game where you see fit.

  • 2 new shanty adventures. Including one by the renowned game designer Jo Kreil, known for such projects as Fear's Sharp Little Needles 'The Great and Terrible Awto', Uncaged Vol 4. 'Oceans of Stone', and Star Trek Adventures: Kobayashi Maru.

  • More quality of sailor life information. Ship information to cover you from the deepest holds to the highest rigging, items for your crew to buy or find, 1D100 ship names, 1D100 sailor tattoos, and 1D12 creature modifiers to make your terrifying encounters even more so.

  • Playable ship dogs. While cats were used to take care of rat problems on ships, dogs such as terriers were actually much better at the job as they were big enough to take on larger vermin than their feline opposites.

  • The Grey Seas are Dreaming of my Death RPG core book is needed in order to play.
